As I record this podcast, my 81-year-old Dad is dying. He has suffered a number of strokes and is declining rapidly. I’m only in my fifties, but I’ve already had a number of illnesses. Sickness and disease cast a long shadow over our lives. We worry about getting sick. We struggle to see any purpose in it. And even with the marvels of modern medicine, we can’t get over it. It’s a dark shadow. So let's take the light of God's word and lighten it by looking at what God teaches about his sovereignty over sickness in Exodus 15:22-27.
